A friend of mine rescued a mongrel a year ago in cox town. He was being dragged, tied inside a gunny bag, with its master slamming the poor dog into every lamp post available. His tail had been half chopped and had developed gangarine and the previous owner had tried to drown it as was this master when we rescued him
His name is Scrappy!
He has been staying with my friend Yasmin ( Bangalore) for a little more than a year now and has had his shots and his tail mended.
He's really a nice dog, however the trauma of the past has left its effect on him and he is very cautious of new people, putting up a "don't mess with me " demeanor.
Yasmin has to leave to the USA in a few weeks and is looking for loving people who understand that animals who have been dealt a hard hand take time to trust. People who will love him unconditionally and bring back life to this doggie.
He is a short mixed breed doggie and is a total cuddle puppy when he trusts you.
Please do let me know...cause if we don't find home or farm options for him he has no choice but to end up in a cage at some so called animal shelter or worse!!
Fingers crossed that there are people out there who can help him.
